Welcome to the Rhea County Community Center!

The Rhea County Community Center (Rc3) provides wellness, sports, and healthy programs for all in Rhea County helping people of all ages, abilities. We are a non-profit organization that offers a wellness center, group exercise classes, Silver Sneakers senior fitness classes, youth sports including soccer, tumbling, flag football, basketball, and aquatics, childwatch while parents work out, and the warm, faith, family, and fitness atmosphere we have all enjoyed. The organization helps people of all ages, abilities, and incomes reach their full potential offering everything you'd expect and so much more.

For over 30 years, the Rhea Family YMCA provided programs and wellness to the Rhea County community thanks to the vision of several families in the early 1980s. The board of the Rhea Family Y agreed to join the YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga Association in 2008 to gain further stability and growth. After 8 years, the Metro Board decided to cease operations of the Rhea Family YMCA on December 31, 2015. Because the loss of the Y would create a huge hole in the fabric of the Rhea County community, several people came together along with the City of Dayton and Fort Bluff Camp to begin a new adventure….The Rhea County Community Center (Rc3). On January 2, 2016, Rc3 welcomed its members as a new, locally-managed non-profit organization. In August 2017, we received our independent 501c3 status. Since the inception of Rc3, we have added quality programs and increased memberships and services to our members while providing financial assistance so all can participate in programs and membership. We look forward to serving this community for years to come. The rich history and overwhelming support for this organization enabled the quick transition, and we are thankful.
